Happy New Year

Merry Christmas Everyone

This blog has never had the aim of reflecting my personal life in any way whatsoever. However, at this time of the year, I would like to wish everyone a very happy time, and to explain why there will be nothing posted on the blog for the next 4 weeks.

Two and a half months ago my husband left me for another woman. We have been married for 10 years, and I was totally devastated. Creating tutorials for Photoshop and keeping this blog active was my only motivation in life. I tried to move on, tried to accept the situation, and was really doing quite well. However, my husband obviously did not like that, so began phoning and visiting, and after 6 weeks away, he moved back in.

I thought everything would be back to normal and happiness would be restored – but that was obviously too much to hope for. He didn’t stop seeing the other woman, and he sat every evening with a face as long as a fortnight, hardly able to look at me or speak with me, and totally unable to touch me. This continued for three weeks, when he finally decided he was going back to her again.

Believe me, being left once is hard – for him to return only to do it again is the most difficult thing I have ever had to face. It was two days ago that he left.

I am an English woman living in Spain. So I have made the decision that I have to return to the UK. I have booked a trip for 4 weeks duration, starting tomorrow.

My husband is a plumber, but his business is suffering. I have no income, so I find myself in an impossible situation – he will not be able to continue supporting me because he has lost all interest in his work and is earning very little.

This is why I have to get back to my own country where I can speak the language and have far more chance of getting employment.

I have two children and three grandchildren in the UK, so I am sure I will have a very enjoyable Christmas being where I feel I belong and I feel I am wanted.

I look forward to posting more Photoshop tutorials on the blog in the New Year, and hopefully I will be able to post some more positive news at that time.

Merry Christmas
