Photoshop Tutorial – Bokeh Effect – Foreground Focus

Bokeh simply means ‘blur’ in Japanese. In photography, if you bring the foreground into sharp focus, the background will blur significantly.  The effect has now become a trend and you can achieve this effect through Photoshop, using the Gaussian Blur filter and Bokeh brushes. In this tutorial I will show you how to take the background of a picture out of focus, and I will also show you the result of creating your own Bokeh background, and point you in the direction of the tutorial that shows you how to do that.
